Epilepsy and other Seizure Disorders

Epilepsy is characterized by abnormal movements or electrical activity in the brain. Seizures and epilepsy are linked, although not everyone who has seizures has epilepsy. Seizures are only symptoms, whereas epilepsy is a condition. Pseudo seizures are non-epileptic seizures that are produced by psychological stress. Seizures and non-epileptic seizures have similar appearances, making epilepsy diagnosis challenging.
